Fred Dole

Fred Dole earned the Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign where he studied with Michael Cameronhis. He earned the Master of Music Degree from the Peabody Conservatory where he studied with Paul Johnson with additional studies with Rob Kesselman and John Hood. He was a freelance musician throughout the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area and has played in numerous orchestras on the East Coast. In 2003, he was chosen as a Peabody String Fellow that allowed him to travel to Singapore to help open the Young Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and to perform with the Singapore Symphony. Mr. Dole is currently Section Double Bass in the Richmond Symphony and The Virginia Symphony and teaches applied string bass at CNU.
